Bristol 67016+67017 worked the Taunton to Cardiff diagram on 26th and 27th October but on 28th 67017 was replaced by 67024 which then worked with 67016 until 30th. On 31st 67016 replaced 67022 on a return Northern Belle to Manchester. 67022 then joined 67024 on the Taunton to Cardiff diagram from 2nd November until 17th. 67016 returned to replace 67022 from 18th and then worked with 67024 until 20th 67022/24 were the 8th and 9th of the class to appear - others have been 67001/05/16/7/25/8/30.

66237+66198 have been noted on RHTT trains in various locations around Bristol, including the Severn Beach line. On 24th October 66843 (Advenza-liveried, but operated by GBRf, departed at 04.57 with barrier coaches 6338 and 6330 en route from Laira to Wembley, having worked a Kilmarnock to Laira stock move the previous day. On 30th October 31233 was noted stabled in the Bath Road Spur.

South West Trains 158s on loan to First Great Western have been 158887/889. The Avon Binliner was noted with 66565 on 17th November.

Bristol Parkway On 26th October 66578 worked a very long container train from Grain to Avonmouth down at 15.45, returning the following day at 12.24. This was a very unusual working and the reason is not known. On 30th October 67005 worked up at 10.50 with a Didcot to Ashchurch MOD train diverted via Bath and Bristol because of an engineering blockade on the Kemble line. On 31st 66152 (Schenker livery) worked down at 08.30 with a Wembley to Margam steel train. On 4th November 57301/312 worked down LE to Eastleigh at 13.36 and on 6th 47832 worked Colas track plant DR76601, 92400, 93446 from Westerleigh to Hinksey yard, Oxford at 15.34. On 7th 67006 worked an Ealing Broadway to Gloucester charter up at 09.16. On 11th November new 70001/2, hauled by 66585 arrived about 01.00 from Newport Docks. 70002 was detached and 66585 and 70001 then continued to Lawley Street. 70002 remained at Parkway and was noted moving with two coal wagons later in the day. On Sunday 15th 66524/60/5/85, 66624 and 70002 were all stabled in Stoke Gifford Yard. On 18th 31464+31285 top and tailed a Network Rail train down to Temple Meads at 13.36 and was seen again at Patchway the following day at 14.55 heading towards Parkway. The Wentloog to Millbrook freightliner produced 66503/30/68/69/77/92.

The Bridgwater to Sellafield nuclear flask train produced 66411/22 at 15.18 on 28th October, 37688/087 at 17.34 on 4th November, 37608/509 at 13.14 on 5th, 37510/194 on 11th, and 37194/510 at 13.13 on 18th. Empty oil trains from Theale to South Wales have been noted with 60004/54/85.

Westerleigh Locomotives on oil trains were 60011/40/1/54/63/84/5 and 66116.

Filton Locomotives on the Machen to Westbury Hanson stone train which usually works down between 13.45 and 14.30 have been 59205 on 23rd, 59101 on 28th, 59203 on 30th, 59005 on 4th November.

Pilning Following a landslide at Chepstow on 12th November which closed the Severn Tunnel Junction to Gloucester line for 2 or 3 days, trains were diverted to run via the Severn Tunnel and Bristol Parkway. On 13th 60085 on Robeston to Westerleigh oil which had to run up to Gloucester to run round to access Westerleigh from the north, passed up at 11.11, 66143 with Margam to Round Oak steel coils up at 11.19. 66054 with Round Oak to Margam steel empties down at 11.54, 66079 with Lackenby to Llanwern steel down at 12.58 and 66427 with Shipley to Cardiff Tidal loaded steel at 14.57. No diverted passenger services were noted on Friday 13th when buses replaced trains between Newport and Gloucester via Chepstow and Lydney, but on 14th 170105 worked up at 11.20 and 13.55 with Cardiff to Gloucester.

Portbury Branch The Tyne Dock car train was worked by 66174 on 29th October and 66188 on 10th November. Coal trains have been noted with 66164/92, 66302/3/5, 66560/6/85, 66726 (on 23rd and 29th October)

Hallen Marsh Junction The Hanson stone train to Westbury was noted on 17th November arriving at 13.06 with 59203. Coal trains have been noted with 66021/55/66, 66112/31/73.
