Our meetings are held in two centres.
On the second Wednesday of each month except August we meet at The Hitchin Christian Centre, Bedford Rd., Hitchin, SG5 1HF. which is on the one-way system opposite Christchurch Methodist/URC Church. Free parking is available in the public car park alongside Christchurch. Meetings commence at 7.30 pm (Doors open 7.00 pm) and usually finish just before 10.00 pm. with a break for tea/coffee about 8.30 which gives time to chat & browse the sales table.
On the last Tuesday of the month except August & December we have an AFTERNOON meeting at The Methodist Church, junction of Ludwick Way & Cole Green Lane, Welwyn Garden City, AL7 3PN commencing at 2.15 pm (Doors open 1 45 pm). Ample parking is available. Refreshment break about 3.15 pm. Meeting ends about 4.30 pm. Sales table usually available.
Visitors and Guests are always welcome at both venues. Admission is free but a donation to help defray costs is welcome and allows participation in the raffle and also includes tea/coffee.
In August we usually try to organise a visit to a place of railway interest.
