North of the Humber:
The better locations are west of Hull city centre around Hessle, Ferriby and Gilberdyke. In the docks area freight is visible from Southcotes Lane overbridge , east of the city centre.

South Bank:
Barnetby is probably the most well known location as are the spots near Melton Ross; the Scunthorpe-Brigg road overbridge and the station overbridge provide reasonable shots. Keadby Canal Junction requires a car for access. Althorpe staion overbridge is another opportunity.
