Warrington Bank Quay - 14th October 2008

Eleven members and a former member who had seen the event publicised turned up at Warrington Bank Quay on 14th October. The weather turned wet in the afternoon but some excitement of sorts was had with a 158820 replacing a Cl.175 on the Llandudno shuttle and 33025 heading south as light engine at breakneck speed. Compensatory news that four Cl.67 and three Cl.47/8 locos were on Arpley EWS made up for the fact that there was only one Fiddler’s Ferry working during the day.

158820 at Warrington working the 10.47 Llandudno-Manchester Piccadilly, vice 175. Richard Neale.
