6233 "Duchess of Sutherland" en route back to Butterley from Old Oak Common passing Denbigh Hall, north of Bletchley on 30th. April after taking water in the nearby Carriage Sidings.

A4 60009 Union of South Africa" seems a regular visitor to the WCML whilst being based at Crewe to work steam specials. Seen here at Milton Keynes Central on 16th March 2007 with a Class 37 attached to the rear, en route to Old Oak Common to work such a special from Kings Cross to York on the following day.

Class A4 60009 crosses the A5 north of Bletchley

An A.4 over the A.5!  60009 "Union of South Africa " crossing the A.5 just north of Bletchley returning home having worked a railtour from St. Albans to York the previous Saturday.

Another loco seen was NER T2 (LNER Q6)
We arrived about two hours before the public service was due to start and saw the engines rostered for the day being prepared. Here we see LMS Black Five 45157 and SR U Class 1803 being fired up
