Western Steam in Colour

A selection of a few black and white but mainly colour slides covering the period from the 1950’s to 1965 in the former Great Western area.

Branch meetings are held at St Matthews Church Rooms, Carver Street, Sheffield S1 4FS, on the second and fourth Monday of the month (between mid September and mid May), commencing at 19.15 for a prompt 19:30 start. The Church rooms are approximately 10 minutes walk from the railway station and adjacent Sheffield Interchange (bus station). The nearest tram stop is City Hall, less than 5 minutes walk from the venue. This is served by blue route trams. A donation of £ 1.00 members / £ 2.00 non-members is requested.

Both Society members and non-members are very welcome to attend our meetings
