Exhibition Reports
Since the introduction of the new society image the branch has been present at two local model railway exhibitions at Canterbury and Tonbridge where much complimentary comment was received from both the exhibition organisers and visitors. This resulted in renewed interest in the society and requests for membership packs.

The picture above, by Andrew Humphreys, shows the stand at the Tonbridge show with concentrated interest coming from new members of the future. And before anybody asks, no, the picture was not posed.

In early June the branch attended the Chatham exhibition at the Chatham Maritime Centre. Because the exhibition is held in the old yard sheds the stand cannot be located against a wall. New wingboards were obtained and attached either side of the book display shelves.
The image above, by Peter Glenn, shows the new enhanced look of the branch stand together with the rogues gallery of attendants.
The stand will next be present at the Folkestone Model Railway Exhibition on 7th & 8th October.
