MEETING LOCATION
Branch meetings are held at the West Oxford Democrats Club, 1 North Street off Botley Road, Oxford commencing at 19.30 usually on the third Monday of each month.
We run a bookstall before the meeting and during the interval.
Refreshments are available from the club during the interval.
Anyone with an interest in railways is welcome to attend our meetings - you do not have to be a member of the RCTS.
West Oxford Democrats Club has its own car park. If full ask at the door as there is scope to double park, but we need to ensure that Democrats Club members are not blocked in. Failing that there is very limited visitor parking in the adjacent streets.
From the western ring road take the A420 towards Oxford city centre and turn right into Bridge Street and left into North Street before the railway station. From other directions follow the signs for the railway station or Botley, go under the the railway and turn left into Bridge Street and again into North Street..
The Club is only 8 minutes walk from the railway station. Leave the station by the exit on the down platform and walk along Botley Road. Immediately after crossing the River Thames turn left over the footbridge. The Club is almost opposite.
