Mystery Photographs

The Courtney Haydon Collection

The late John Courtney Haydon was a prolific photographer of the railway scene. His photographic archive was bequeathed to the society and members of the photo archive team are attempting to catalogue the collection which includes several thousand negatives about which we have little or no information.

Additional photographs will usually be added on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. We will be including other photos from the Society's collection from time to time

Photographs where the location has now been identified are here.

Gentlemen. First we have a look at Dove Holes and some unknown locations, and move on to Chapel-en-le-Frith and more unknowns. All the usual answers please.
