Berwick-upon-Tweed Station looking south, Royal Border Bridge can be seen.

There is a commemorative plaque located within the platform staircase area which gives an indication of the historical significance of this site. It was Berwick castle. The NB demolished the castle to build the station, and stonework was used in building Royal Border Bridge when the line ws extended south.
