Healey Mills yard looking east towards Wakefield.

Class 37, split box variant runs along the north side of Healey Mills Yards with Storrs Lane Bridge in the background. I think this is taken looking east from the footbridge leading to the diesel depot. I wonder if the 08 & brake van in the distance was our ride having just decanted the railtourers under the footbridge?

It is taken from the depot access footbridge. The road in the background is Storrs Hill Road. The school cross country course went along the footpath to the left of the yard here and then up the hill - for some reason I was always one of the last to finish (pen and paper tucked down shorts).
