Travelling and looking more or less east, we are in sight of Leek Brook Junction outer home signal from Endon.

Between Wall Grange and Leek Brook Jct., whose distant and up outer home are visible. We are looking east-ish. Cheddleton Hospital, formerly reached by its own electric tramway from the junction, is on the hill off to the right. It is now expensive flats. The tramway rose through the woods visible on the opposite hillside.
