From the Bootle end, tunnels on the Bootle Branch are:- Alexandra Dock (283 yards), just after Derby Road bridge. Oriel Road (288 yards), between Bootle Jct & Atlantic Dock Jct. Westminster (288 yards), just after Atlantic Dock Jct, and which must be this tunnel. See 14A for more tunnel info.

This & Canada Dock Tunnel were originally one long bore until the building of the Seaforth Branch when the middle section was opened out for this junction.

Signal is "underslung" due to sighting : the stop signal on the left is Atlantic Dock Junction home signal with Bootle Junction distant signal beneath it. The smaller arm on the right read to the Canada Dock branch.
