Tram Inn on the Newport, Abergavenny & Hereford Railway. Next Box Pontrilas. The road is the B4348. This is a GWR type 5 box opened in 1894 with a 23 lever frame. Name plate ordered from reading signal works 1/12/1893. The box is built on a Mckenzie & Holland Type 3 box base. The box has been messed up by provision of new windows and automatic half barriers.
