5596 reversing onto the former Barton line at Hereford, before running north onto the HH&B to gain the main line.

5596 Bahamas turning at Hereford. Six Bells Jct shows it worked a Bahamas Locomotive Society excursion between Shrewsbury and Hereford 14/10/72 returning north on an LCGB excursion to Shrewsbury. The Newport - Hereford (and return) legs of both tours were worked by 6000 King George V.
