Alresford. Six Bells site lists a BR "Last TRain Winchester / Alton" tour on 4 Feb. 1973, with (D)6511 and 2 x 4TC sets, but that was in the evening, so this is probably the LCGB "Hampshire Ferret" tour on 3 Feb. 1973, using the same loco and TC sets plus a buffet car. Tour originated at Waterloo, and also visited Southampton Ocean Liner Terminal, West Moors, Hamworthy (Goods) and Weymouth Quay

The buffet car is not one of the pair of RMB's wired for through emu use (1872 and 1873 if I remember correctly), rather it is an RB. So is it the through wired coach from the 8Vab unit 8001?
