Towyn Aber Dysynni Bridge looking north.

Up train approaching. Tonfanau Camp on the skyline, and this location is really nearer Tonfanau that Towyn. The GWR put this bridge in, replacing a timber structure - some of the stumps of which are still visible in the river bed.

The photo has been taken from the road, which still crossed the river at this date by the Bailey bridge, now long removed, leaving two dead end roads.

The location is known locally as "Bailey Bridge" to this day, though the road bridge is long gone.
