This could be Wensley looking west. The station building and SB would be to the left of the train on the other side of the LC.

Note that the gates are of the 'boom' pattern, which are so weighty that in addition to the usual pivot at one end the boom is supported near the centre by a wheel that runs on the road surface.

location: Wensley.
Whilst checking film G-123 prior to writing captions for the Photo Archive, I have found an error in the frame reference for this photo, which should be G-123-25A. I cannot think how or why this has happened as the photo is in sequence, correctly labelled, in my archive file! Apologies for any confusion this has caused.
