Does anyone have memories of train travel in the Summer of 1969. An author has been in contact enquiring about travelling from London to York.
On average how long would it take?

Hornby have now released an 00 scale model of 43014 THE RAILWAY OBSERVER paired with 43013 MARK CARNE. Reference is R3769. They are now available from the Rails of Sheffield and Hattons where they are priced at £260.
