Loaded test run completed successfully last night, on schedule to return to Stewarts Lane tonight/tomorrow.

The repainting of Clan Line will be completed this evening, the loco is to be kept in the paintshop with the heaters on over the weekend to allow the paint to bake. The painting of the locomotive in correct BR green is going very well, not black unlike some other similar Bulleid pacific! See the Clan Line website for some pictures of the progress.

FURTHER UPDATE: The loco did not actually go into the paint shop until Fri 02/06 this will put back the date of the loaded test run and return to Stewarts Lane by a few days. I will post further details when I get more information. Watch this space.

JUNE UPDATE: Clan Line is now in the paint shop at LNWR Crewe Heritage, hopefully this work will be completed by Friday 16th June. Weighing of locomotive and laser gauging has been completed. Clan Line has passed in frames steam test and official examination.
