Q14.14. Locomotive Buried at Wembley Exhibition Site?

Is it true that there is a locomotive buried at Wembley, or is it a myth?

,br>The story is associated with the Wembley Tower (predating the exhibition and stadium sites, but never completed). It was rumoured that the four concrete bases were filled with steel from scrap track and railway locomotives. After the tower was removed the bases remained as part of the Empire Stadium with one base left complete under the pitch. When the current stadium was built nothing was found in the bases left apart from rail sections. No locomotive remains were found at all. (PDeaves:20844
