Comfort is, of course, very subjective and what works for one does not necessarily work for another. For me, the most uncomfortable trains are 390s. The seat itself is generally OK, but it's the extra wide sill width coupled with sloping bodyside (for tilt) and packing seats in irrespective of windo...

Why NR don't have a stronger policy of cutting back all vegetation and trees that are within influencing distance of their lines is beyond me. Would reduce the amount of leaf clearance as well as avoiding trees falling on the lines. Whilst I see your point, and agree in theory, there are often case...
