That is true, but the legal entity (company) does, just the same as the Keolis Amey companies (plural, for there are two) for the Wales & Borders franchise already exist even though not running trains yet.

Presumably this is a result of all the work being carried out at Old Oak Common. It's not so much 'work' at Old Oak Common. The depot is being decommissioned ready to demolish it. All, Were there ever any stations pre-nationalisation that were run by one company but served only by another? If so, where (and ideally with dates if known)?
