We all know newscaster Nicholas Owen as a transport enthusiast.
Bust what about singer Rod Stewart - he is fan of american railroads and has a large layout modelled on a major US city station.
Does anybody know of anyone else?

A couple of others I can think of are Michael Palin and Phil Collins is similar to Rod Stewart and are into model railways also the late Bill Pertwee from Dad's Army
Re: Celebrities as Railfans.
The composer Anton Bruckner was also an enthusiast.

Not really a "celebrity" but Hermann Goering had a large (naturally) Marklin "O" gauge layout on the upper story of his estate lodge "Karinhalle". He also had his own train Asien. Rumours are that some of the model layout may have been saved by staff before he personally blew up "Karinhalle" as the Russians advanced.

Another well-known train watcher is Robert Redford. Apparently, he finds going out into the desert to watch long freights rounding spirals in the mountains very relaxing.
