43014 THE RAILWAY OBSERVER
Can anyone advise how I could obtain an 'OO' scale model of 43014 THE RAILWAY OBSERVER ?
Re: 43014 THE RAILWAY OBSERVER
How are your modelling skills? It shouldn't be too difficult to convert another model power car. I have an idea that a conversion article appeared in the model press a couple of years ago (probably Model Rail); can anyone elucidate further?

Re: 43014 THE RAILWAY OBSERVER
Hornby did a model of 43014 as their R3366 (a twinpack with 43062). They also produced the coaches to enable a complete New Measurement Train to be modeled. A web search suggests a few stockists may still have this available (and secondhand from eBay).
The problem is that it depicts 43014 before naming with a large "Network Rail" logo on the side of the power car so it would still need a bit of work (from the photographs on the website the logo was removed before the naming).
