RAILWAY OBSERVER CHANNEL
Re: RAILWAY OBSERVER CHANNEL
Hi Folks
Due to unforeseen production problems the printed version of the November RO will not be mailed until the middle of next week and should therefore arrive on doorsteps around the 9th of November. Apologies for this most unusual deviation from our usual performance.

Hi Folks
The January 2018 RO is now on line though there are still some problems with the Pagesuite digital interface particularly if you are using the Chrome browser. An alternative is to try using Firefox which appears to give reasonable access when used from a Pc.
Apologies for these problems which we hope to resolve after the holiday period.
Enjoy!

Re: RAILWAY OBSERVER CHANNEL
The "Where is it" picture on page 69 of the January RO has the same caption as for that in December !
"Oops!! could have been nasty. Three of these tracks are still in daily use - but you need to be a
timetable expert to ?do the route?!"
I rather suspect that there is no relevant caption for the January picture, so will go think about it anyway.

The February 2018 RO is now on line though there are still problems with the Pagesuite digital interface particularly if you are using the Chrome browser. An alternative is to try using Firefox which appears to deliver the correct digital version when used from a PC.

Re: RAILWAY OBSERVER CHANNEL
Further to my note yesterday regarding access to the digital RO edition, it appears that this is a Chrome browser problem. Using the Firefox browser appears to present the e-mag version of the RO - ie that via Pagesuite - with no problems either on a PC or a Tablet. I suggest members frustrated with acceessing the PDf RO version download Firefox to their appropriate device and use this to access the digital version of the RO.

Re: RAILWAY OBSERVER CHANNEL
In light of the on going debate over RO size, is it planned to have samples of the larger format on display at the forthcoming AGM?
Re: RAILWAY OBSERVER CHANNEL
No Peter. Sadly the B5 proposal is effectively shelved pending other developments and will not form part of discussions at this weeks AGM.
