The May RO is now on-line. However some members of the editorial team have had to give priority to a number of personal activities this month as a result of which the printed version is unlikely to be available before 10th May at the earliest.

Sorry folks. Laptop problems have delayed July Digital RO. Hopefully should be available by this weekend and the print version later next week.

I am sure you will find it worth waiting for !

I usually receive my printed copy of the Railway Observer in the first few days of the month. Sadly as of today 14th July I have not yet received the July edition number 1073. Can someone please advise if there have been problems with the printing or distribution please. Thanks in anticipation of obtaining my outstanding issue in the next few days. Member 19497 D. Hi Folks

The August RO along with an application form for the free trial membership offer should be accessible later this evening. As with last months supplements the application form can be accessed by using the archive tab on Pagesuite.

I was a little surprised that after submitting a report to the Scottish Editor on 29th July, two days after the Sept deadline apparently, about the introduction of the Class 385s on the Waverley/Queen St service and amongst other things the alterations to Platform 12 at Waverley that the Aug Edition of the RO as it appeared on the Web and as yet to land on my mat included both these items. So events that had happened on the 24th July for the 385s and a few days later for Platform 12, which included a photo, managed to make it into the Aug RO that appeared on the Web on the 31st. Amazing isn't it. Nothing to do with the fact the Editor now lives in Scotland I don't suppose!!! So my report will not appear, if at all, until the Oct edition. If we can make the RO this upto date why cannot it be done on a wider scale?
Regards (tongue in cheek)
