Mysterious Railcar

Post by RichardCoulthurst » Wed Dec 20, 2017 9:59 am

Can anyone identify what the railcar seen in post 34 on the following discussion group is?

http://www.rmweb.co.uk/community/index. ... /?p=488699

It seems to be a Bristol SC with an ECW body on a rail chassis. The destination is shown as Bangor and it is done out in Crosvllle livery. However there only seems to be a driving position at one end and there are no passenger doors on the offside. This would mean that the vehicle would have to be turned at the end of each journey.

Is this genuine or is it a clever bit of photo manipulation?

Looks like a fake photo to me.
The Bristol/ECW railbuses were these:
