Another recent thread asked how it is going.
In the case of the service between Cambridge and Gatwick/Brighton, the answer is very badly.
On Sunday, of 14 booked trains in each direction, only 3 ran through the core.
On Monday, of 18 booked trains in each direction, only 7 ran through the core.
Yesterday was a bit of an improvement with 11 northbound and 10 southbound running through the core, but still only just over 50% of advertised service.
With thanks to RTT/OTT supplementing my long distance observations at the Cambridge end.

Re: New timetable
Norther Trains will be introducing an Emergency timetable in the North West from Monday 4th June until the end of July in the hope that they can start to run a timetable of sorts.... They are withdrawing 165 trains services.... But as they've been cancelling around 250 trains a day i cannot see how withdrawing 165 services is going to help......
